Our Story
The Walker family began spending summers on Christopher Creek in 1951. In 1962, Howard and Ruthmary came to know Jesus personally, and God became real to them. They turned the ranch into a Bible camp so many others could find Jesus to be real too.
"God knew all along that this was going to be a Bible Camp, He just never told us before, because we didn't know Him yet."
-Howard Walker
The Walker family is still part of the camp today, generations later, and Howard's grandchild serves on our board. Together, we're keeping Howard's vision going: a place where many others can find Jesus to be real too.
Today it is a non-denominational, nonprofit Bible camp run by a volunteer board and an on-site manager.
